When I sat down to work on Astral Bloom, I didn’t have anything spectacular or complex in mind. I was searching for a feeling insteadth e sense of a quiet blooming within the heart, slow, intimate, almost imperceptible. From that intention the groove of the piece emerged, carefully shaped in its details yet very natural. It isn’t a rhythm that pushes or demands attention; it breathes. Rather than simply beating, it seems to expand and contract like a heart pulsing from afar.

The female voices soon became the emotional thread of the track. They don’t tell a story with words, but with presence soft sighs that appear and fade between silence and sound. I like to think of them as small sonic caresses, close and warm, with that subtle feeling of someone speaking softly beside you.

Beneath this delicate texture, the harp traces light arpeggios, almost like small points of light in the darkness. An ethnic flute with a warm tone enters at times and then dissolves into the air, carrying with it an ancient nostalgia, something that seems to come from far away.

The deep, enveloping bass line holds everything together with discretion; it is a stable, grounding presence that supports without ever intruding. The percussion remains subtle and distant, just enough to keep the movement alive without breaking the suspended atmosphere.

I chose to tune the piece to 432 Hz because I feel it gives the sound a softer, more organic quality. It’s a vibration that, at least for me, resonates more naturally with the breath and the heart. It’s less a theory than a feeling it gently invites you to slow down and listen more deeply.

In the end, Astral Bloom is like an invisible blooming, an invitation to let go with trust. It is that space where the mind softens, silence becomes fertile ground, and the body relaxes enough to allow something new to emerge from within.
